Fax Cover Page

AiPBX can put a cover page in front of faxes sent from the portal. There is one template for the whole organisation.

Setting it up

Open Fax → Fax Units and find Fax cover page:

• Cover page on sent faxes: Off, The sender decides, or On every fax. On every fax cannot be turned off by the sender.
• Organisation name and Confidentiality notice: printed on every cover.
• Print the logo: uses the PNG or JPEG logo from the Appearance page.

Preview as a fax shows the page in black and white at fax resolution, as the far end receives it. A fax has no greys, so a colour logo can come out badly: a simple dark logo prints best.

Sending

On Send New Fax, enter who it is for, a subject and a message. The sender's name and number, the recipient's number, the date and the page count are filled in. The page count includes the cover.

The cover becomes part of the fax: the archived PDF shows it, and resending a fax sends the same pages again.
