Branding & Appearance Guide

Manage the portal's entire visible identity (tab title, sidebar logo/title, favicon, main colors) here. Changes take effect on every page, including the login screen, as soon as they are saved.
Limits to know
  • Cloudflare Turnstile needs internet access in the visitor's browser. On a closed network nobody can sign in with it: it can only be turned off from the server.
Optional. When filled, the sign-in page shows "Need help?" with this name, e-mail and phone, so users who cannot sign in know whom to contact.

Sign-in security check

Turnstile loads a script from Cloudflare in the visitor's browser and sends their IP address to Cloudflare, so the browser needs internet access. If this server cannot reach Cloudflare, the sum comes back for ten minutes.

Sign-in alerts

Mails a user when their account signs in from an internet network it has not used in the last 90 days. Wrong passwords are handled by the lockouts and Fail2ban; this one covers a stolen password that works. It needs the E-mail settings and an e-mail address on the user. Addresses on your own LAN or VPN do not count.

Sign in only through the identity provider

Turns off passwords, passkeys, Google and the password reset for signing in, in the portal and in the mobile apps. To turn it on, first sign in through that provider, in this browser. If the provider stops working, an administrator on the server can get a one-time link: see the Single Sign-On guide.
