Module Guide

A phone gets the addresses and settings of its region, for example one set inside your network and another for phones outside it. You choose the region on each phone; new phones start in the default region. An empty field takes the value from the general settings. Allowed networks stay general, and phones outside also need the server's NAT settings, firewall and certificate to be right. A phone still has to reach the server once to read its region's settings.

General settings for all regions
Every region uses these, unless the region has its own value for a field: then the region's value is used. Written into the phones' files. Empty: the PBX's domain. On a phone network without DNS or internet enter IP addresses, then re-provision the phones.
Where phones fetch their files: an IP or name, e.g. 192.168.1.70 (http is used), or with a scheme and port, e.g. https://pbx.example.com:8443 (no path). Shown with each phone and sent as DHCP option 66/160. With an IP over https the certificate does not match the address: most phones accept it, some need http.
Phones send their log here (UDP 514); an IPv4 address. Written for NEC phones.
Name or IP address. NEC phones take an IP address only. With Network services → NTP server on, enter this server's IP.
One network per line (e.g. 192.168.1.0/24). When set, phones outside these networks get nothing, and MAC-based file names (/provision/) work inside them. Empty: only the per-phone URLs work, from anywhere.
