VPN Server

Lets phones, softphones and laptops outside your network reach this PBX through a private tunnel. Choose WireGuard (fast and simple, recommended) or OpenVPN (when a device needs it, or when only TCP gets through a firewall). Add a device, then load its profile on that device; each device has its own keys, and deleting it shuts it out at once. Register phones to the server's VPN address shown under Devices.

What a VPN device can reach: this PBX only: the portal, SIP, call audio and fax. It cannot reach other devices or the networks behind this server, because the server does not route between networks. SSH and the FTP and TFTP services are not open to it. Moving to another VPN type gives devices new profiles; the old type's devices are kept and work again when you go back. Changing the port or the public address also needs the profiles to be loaded again.
